Facts about Venus

Venus actually rotates from east to west, as opposed to west to east which is the common rotating direction of most other planets in space. The atmosphere on the surface of the planet Venus consists mostly of carbon dioxide, with a small trace of nitrogen. The planet Venus has a surface pressure about 90 times that of the Earth, making any life on the planet unsustainable.

Black holes , planets and more

The nearest known black hole is 1,600 light years away. Saturn’s rings are made up of particles of ice, dust and rock. Some stuff is as small as dust and sand while others are much larger than skyscrapers. Jupiter is 1000 times earth. Hale-Bopp the comet is putting out almost 250 tons of gas and dust every second. This is about 50 times more than most comets produce. The Sun looks 1600 times fainter from Pluto than it does from the Earth. There is a super big black hole right in the middle of the Milky Way that is 4million times themas of the Sun. Halley’s Comet appears almost every 76 years. The orbit of most asteroids is right between the plants of Mars and Jupiter. Asteroids and comets are to be ancient particles of the growing of the Solar System. Comets are bodies of ice, big rock and compounds that can be several miles in diameter. The atmosphere is made up a lot spheres.

Our solar system

We have the troposphere, stratosphere here, mesosphere, and thermosphere. In the solar system, we have two groups of planets, the outer gas big one and the inner Rockey ones. In our Solar System, the planets receive much less light and heat from the Sun, as they are much further away, and the solar radiation traveling outwards behaves according to an inverse square law. The gas giants emit heat left over from the planets' final part of contraction when they are formed.

Facts about the sun

The sun is the biggest object in the solar system. It is the a star in the middle of the solar system. The sun is the most important thing in our solar system. Solar energy is created in the core of the sun. The suns outer layer has a temperature of 6,000C (11,000F). By the core the temperature 15,000,000C (27,000,000F). The corona is the outer part of the suns atmosphere.

Facts about mars

Mars is the fourth plant form the sun, and it is one of the earths next-door neighbors. Scientists have strong evidence that water once was on mars. Mars is a lot colder than earth. Mars is very different than earth because mars is much farther from the sun and must smaller than earth.
